I haven't blogged all year

Happy new year everyone!

How are you? I hope you're all doing well and that no one got too drunk on New Years Eve!

Do you have any new years resolutions? I have two: the first one was to shop less, and the second one was to try to enjoy life more. They're pretty good goals, but I suppose I've already broken my first promise when I decided I needed new hair products. But I guess it doesn't count because I needed them more than I wanted them, right?

My hair is very long, it reaches all the way down my back, and it's naturally straight. I curl it very often, so my hair is prone to breakage, and that's why it's so important for me to keep it as healthy as possible. And a good way to do this is by using high quality hair products!

I bought some of my favourites.

The first thing I got was a new bottle of Biosilk Silk Therapy. This stuff works miracles on my extremely dry hair hair, because it makes it super soft and I can't live without it!

Another product I bought is the Fudge Clean Blonde purple shampoo, because it removes those ugly yellow tones from my light blonde hair, and it's the only purple shampoo I've tried so far that doesn't make my hair look dry, flat, and boring.

I also got the Chi Nourish Intense hair mask, to make my hair softer and look a lot healthier.

I wanted to get the Hot Iron Holster for my straightener and curling irons, because I'm always terrified of them burning my table or vanity while cooling off. Now I can just put them inside of the hot iron holster, and I don't have to worry about them anymore :)

And last but not least, I got a bright pink Tangle Teezer, because those are my favourite hair brushes of all time. I love using Tangle Teezers when I get out of the shower because wet hair is so fragile, and the Tangle Teezer still doesn't break wet hair at all. It works great on dry hair too, because it hardly rips out any hair, and makes my locks look very nice.

What are your favourite hair products?

  1. The only hair product I use is my shampoo. Head and shoulders as without it I'll have dandruff like crazy.

    1. Have you ever tried using a regular shampoo, mixed with baking soda? It's a lot less agressive than Head and Shoulders, and it works great on most people I met who have dandruff!
