Sad day + skincare addict!

The anniversary of my older brother's death is today, and even though it's been 9 years already, August 14 is still a pretty hard day for me every year. He was 17 when he died in 2008, so he would be 26 if he'd be alive today. I still think about him often, and I can't help but wonder if he'd be married by now, or if he'd have children. It feels a bit weird that my last memories of him are from when he was 17 (a lot younger than I am now), as he will forever be my big brother.

So because today is a sad day for me, I got the day off work to relax, which I'm very grateful for :) I figured I'd share some of my newly purchased beauty products!

As some of you may know, I'm a huge Chanel skincare fan. I bought the Chanel Hydra Beauty Micro Serum not too long ago, and I can't rave enough about how much I love it! At €115 for 50 ml, it's definitely a bit on the pricier side. But because you only need such a tiny little amount each time you use it, it lasts a really long time, and that makes it worth it to me.

Unfortunately I've run out of my Hydra Beauty Gel Crème a while back (also from Chanel), which is my favourite day cream ever. So when I was shopping for some beauty products a couple of days ago, I decided to pick it up again :) To be honest I only needed a new jar of Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade, and the cream I mentioned, but as you probably already expected of me, I left the store with a few more items, haha.

1. Hydra Beauty "Micro Gel Yeux" eyecream
2. Hydra Beauty Gel Crème
3. Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in "Taupe"
4. Hydra Beauty hydrating mask

Have you ever used Chanel skincare? What are your favourite skincare products?

Decisions, decisions

There are many decisions one needs to make in life, but not many are as important or as difficult as having to decide what colour one should paint their nails.

So, dear reader, should I go for "Just Beclaus" or "Lady In Black"?

Decisions, decisions...

A little mascara never hurts

Hi there!

I'm so sorry for the delay in publishing this blog post! I came home from Austria not too long ago, and I've been super busy at work ever since. But as I'm currently home with the flu, I figured today would be a good day to show you some of the beauty products I bought when I was there! I loved how budget friendly all of these were, so I really recommend checking out a few drugstores if you ever travel to Germany or Austria.

1. HASK Argan Oil Shampoo & Conditioner
2. DM Ebelin (their own brand?) eyelash curler
3. "Fresh & Fruity" shower foam
4. Invisibobble hair tie
5. Waterlily deodorant
6. Batiste "fruity & cheeky cherry" dry shampoo
7. Max Factor "False Lash Effect" mascara
8. L'Oreal Hydra Active moisturizer
