Why I've Been Away

Hey you!

It's been so long since we've talked, and I hope you're doing well! A lot has changed in my life: I left my beloved small town behind and moved to a new city, and I recently broke up with my boyfriend of 5 and half years. I guess I needed some time to process it all, which is why I've been away for so long. I hope you understand, and forgive me for being away :)

In terms of work it's been a particularly quiet week. I managed to get a couple of days off for my birthday, and I'm spending them all with running, going on walks, and going to the movies. I've already seen Thor: Ragnarok, The Mountain Between Us, and Geostorm this week, and it's only Wednesday haha. Tomorrow I'll probably take the train to visit my parents, so I can be with them when I turn 24 next Friday.

I figured some of you might be interested in seeing my new city, so I took a couple of pictures!

  1. I hope that you enjoy your new home and will be happy there. No point staying in a relationship that makes you unhappy. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful evening. Be positive darling!

  3. Sure lots of changes indeed. New city looks like quite the spot. Break ups are never fun, but better than being stuck in one you are unhappy with.

  4. Glad to see you blogging again, but sorry your relationship with your boyfriend has ended. It must have been so hard to keep that going with so much distance between the two of you. I hope you are settling into your new surroundings well, which look very beautiful.

  5. Sorry to hear about your breakup, those are never fun.

But I've never moved to a new city before, I hear that can be scary sometimes. I always hate uncertainty.
