Can you believe it's December already?!
Even though it's not that cold here in Hong Kong at the moment, I'm slowly starting to get super excited for Christmas. I'm pretty late to start decorating this year, but I really can't wait to make our new apartment all festive!
If you've been following my blog for a couple of years, you probably know that I like to treat myself to one or two (or five) yummy scented candles every winter. I absolutely love burning them whenever I'm at home, as they are such lovely little luxuries that bring so much cosiness to the house!
I found a store called "Dudes" on Instagram, that sells a lot of cool stuff that you can't really find anywhere else in Hong Kong, including lots of fancy candles! So obviously, I took the first MTR to Causeway Bay to check out their store, where I found this adorable "Merry Cookie" three-wick candle from Bath & Body Works. The girls at the store were super sweet, and I will definitely go back soon.
The candle basically smells like freshly baked Christmas cookies, and I think it's more than perfect for the holiday season. The scent reminds me of bakery vanilla with hints of butter, and even my husband, who really doesn't like most scented candles, enjoys it a lot. I lit it in our kitchen, and within minutes our apartment was filled with a yummy cookie smell!
What's your favourite cookie?
Oooh, I love candles! This one sounds gorgeous as cookies are my favourite. I love chocolate chip ones, yum. Thank you so much for visiting my blog, your's is fab. Am really happy you liked my post. I hope you have a great day & come back soon :)) x
ReplyDeleteThank you! That's really sweet of you!
DeleteSeems delightful! I bought my festive stash of Christmas candles myself ahead of the seasons, lots of vanillas, cranberries, cinnamon and spices, they spread a lovely fragrance even through their package :)
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on team vanilla and cranberry. One of my favorite scent is cranberry woods.. it's a lovely scent without being too perfumey.
DeleteYum! I agree, cranberry and vanilla sounds great!
DeleteI'm totally with you on the burning candles. It's an inexpensive luxury, and with the right product, can last for hours and hours. My favorite cookie is a rainbow cookie, but I've never seen that in candle scent.
ReplyDeleteI love sugar cookies.
